I’m Hamzah Khan. I’ve spent 15+ years running Linux and cloud infrastructure. I also take on short, one-off work for smaller companies that don’t have an infrastructure person of their own.

If your team builds software but nobody owns the servers, this is probably you.

The kind of thing I get called about

The person who set all this up has left, and nobody has the full picture — or the credentials.
Deploys have stopped working and nobody’s sure what changed.
A server or cluster is down and the usual restart hasn’t fixed it.
The AWS bill has jumped and nobody can explain why.
Certificates expired over a weekend and took the site with them.
Backups exist, in theory. Nobody has ever restored one.
A migration is half-finished and stuck.
Monitoring is installed but nobody trusts what it says.

How it works

Get in touch with roughly what’s happening — error messages and logs help, so does “I don’t know, it’s just broken.” I agree the scope and cost with you before I start. No open-ended hourly meter.

I work remotely by default. London on-site is possible where it’s genuinely needed.

What I don’t do

Windows servers, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, laptops, printers, phones, or general office IT. If that’s what you need, you want a managed IT provider, not me.

I work on Linux servers, cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP and Azure, and Kubernetes.
